Christina Moll joined the Central faculty this fall during the pandemic switch over. She has been a teacher for a total of 14 years, with 11 of them being directed towards elementary development. While Moll has been a high school teacher for three years, this is the first year she can be called an official Pounder. Moll was accepted into the Special Education program to help facilitate learning in the chemistry field.

“I am an inclusion teacher, so I support the teacher that I co-teach with in the classroom,” Moll stated.

In this circumstance, Chemistry Teacher John Brittingham is Moll’s co-teacher.

When asked about her best quality, Brittingham responded with “Her eagerness and desire to learn.”

While Moll may be new to the crew, she is making a huge impact not only on her students but her fellow coworkers. The pair works well together to help students expand their understanding of chemistry. Even though the pandemic has shaken education at its very core, the duo remains steady. Moll believes “a teacher needs to be flexible” and she is doing the best she can by “supporting the students but through zoom.”

There is no doubt about it that most of her time is spent preparing for the work week. While this job is very time consuming, Moll still pushes to make time for her three children.

“Jonathan is 18 years old, Justin is 11 years old, and Victoria is eight years old,” shared Moll.

Central High School welcomes Mrs. Christina Moll from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. From sandy shores to mild mountains, she plans to fight for and support her students.
