March 10, 2022
On March 11, Central High School hosted the annual school talent show. The talent show is a way students and staff can display their talents to the school. The talent show has been a tradition for Central for many years. Multiple students will be participating including 12th grade English teacher Mr.Fletcher who will be playing the piano. A variety of acts will also be preforming.
The talent show includes students who have auditioned for a committee of faculty, administration, and senior students. Each year there is a variety of acts, including musicians, dancers, and other talented students. Each act is limited to 4 minutes for their performance. This year the talent show consists of students from each grade and includes students singing, playing the piano and dancing.
Mrs. Latham stated, “My favorite part of the talent show is always watching the students actually perform at the show. It is wonderful to see them share their talents for the student body and faculty to enjoy.”
To be able to view the talent show students were required to pay a three dollar ticket. The tickets were being sold during the lunch periods the day of the talent show. The talent show took place during fifth period on March 11, in the gymnasium.
The talent show is a great way to represent Central High. This event was a great opportunity to celebrate the gifts and talents of the students. Therefore allowing others to express themselves through different forms of fine arts. Central High has rich tradition and hopes to continue the pride that the talent show carries.
