At Central High School, there are many teachers who make a difference, but one who truly stands out is Mrs. Stacy Alexander. She has built a reputation for being kind, dedicated, and always going the extra mile for her students. Many say she’s more than just a teacher; she is someone who inspires others every single day.
Coach Blake described Alexander as “a teacher who is always helping out and always a great friend and coworker.” Ms. Martin agreed, adding, “She takes her time with all the students, getting them successful with their future, and she really takes the time to help them succeed.” According to Mr. Iannarone, she’s always helping out and giving the students support. Other teachers said, “Even when you can tell she’s stressed out, she still helps out and gives support.”
Students also had a great deal to say about Alexander. Abigail Juneau says her favorite memory is when she went to a Baylor soccer fundraiser with Mrs. Alexander. Karleigh Drew described her as “caring, funny, and outgoing, while Aubrey Drew added, “She’s the best coach ever.” All the cheerleaders agreed that they “appreciate everything she does, and they love her so much.”
If you need to know anything about colleges, school events, or cheerleading, she’s the one to go to and she’s always happy and ready to help the students. Even if you just want to talk to someone, she always has an open ear and is ready to listen. Students noticed all these amazing things. When asked how they would describe her in three words, most students said the same things, like “loving, caring, inspiring.”
It’s clear that Alexander’s hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. She’s the kind of teacher that is straightforward but also ready to be helpful. She pushes everyone to do their best and she celebrates the students’ success. Many students agreed it wouldn’t be Central High School without her.
Central High is lucky to have many great teachers, but Alexander’s impact on her students and fellow staff members shows just how meaningful one person’s dedication can be. She reminds everyone that they should do the right thing even when no one is watching and always be a leader.
