Central High School is full of student passions when it comes to their favorite video games. Many students find video games very entertaining and find comfort when playing them. Students play a variety of games that include action, story based, modern RPGs, and even sport related.

Justin Crook, a senior says, “Call of Duty is my favorite game to play because it’s probably the only game I’m good at and the action in it is better than any other game I’ve played.”

It’s not just about the action in video games that appeals to some students. Many students find a thrill in sports games as well. “My all time favorite game to play is Madden. I get the most excitement out of playing it because in matches I’m close to losing, I start to get pumped up so I can win,” says Shares Kelsean Patillo, a senior.

Strategy games also have a place at Central High School. Braden Johnson, a senior, says that, “Elden Ring is my favorite game to play because of the thinking that it takes to play. It’s difficult to play but that’s what I like about it.”

At Central, the love for video games is common. Students enjoy playing the games that they love for many different reasons. Playing video games are good hobbies for students as they relax and chill at home.
