In the SGA meeting on February 2, the student council members were each given papers about what to include in the constitution. The papers contained things about dress code, attendance, and items in the student handbook.
The student handbook idea was given to the SGA members by Principal Iannarone. He wants the constitution to be what the student handbook is, but in simple terms.
Also on the agenda was announcements. The SGA decided Alan Castillo, Junior President, will do the announcements on Tuesdays and Thursdays; Keira Sims, Senior Treasurer, will do them on Wednesday and Friday; and Melina Barros, Senior President, on Monday.
The meeting’s attendees were Melina Barros, Senior President; Ashley Frias Cruz, Vice President; Leslie Frias Cruz, Senior Secretary; Keira Sims, Senior Treasurer; Alan Castillo, Junior President; Amy Sauder, Junior Vice President; and Mr. Russell, SGA Facilitator.
