The year is heating up for the graduating class at Central High School. Second semester is in full swing and seniors are inching closer to graduation.
This past week, the student representatives and students participating in the Central court for Mr. and Mrs. Central were announced. The full list of all the students will be released shortly, but first, let’s get into what these positions truly mean.
Student representatives are selected by their peers and are tasked with delivering a speech at graduation. Students on Central court will be participating in Central High’s rich senior night tradition, where the court members find out who is crowned Mr. and Mrs. Central in front of their graduating class and who will win various scholarships.
Senior Night on Friday, February 9th was a great way to cap off an exciting week. Senior ladies and mens basketball players as well as cheerleaders were recognized on Friday between the girls and boys varsity games. Players were walked out by their loved ones and presented with gifts from their fellow teammates and praise from all who attended the game. This was topped off by a big varsity boys win over the Ooltewah Owls.
